Karoo House

Shortly before the hard lockdown in South Africa we did a road trip through the beautifully stark Karoo desert. Those who have had the privilege of exploring this region of South Africa will understand the stillness, vastness and serene beauty that is unlike any other I’ve seen in the country. It’s no surprise then, that two months into lockdown, living in an urban complex, I found myself dreaming of creating my dream home on a Karoo farm with nothing around for miles. This is an ongoing project, but I have really enjoyed bringing it to life. And I hope it inspires more love and appreciation for our amazing country.
